·    Worldwide Distribution and Aggressive Marketing. DEStech Publications is a growing book and journal publisher dedicated to promoting and selling professional books in the scientific, technical, and engineering marketplace.
We market our books globally through a variety of channels–Website and specialized search engines, direct mail promotions, e-mail, specialized conferences, book distributors, and online retailers, to name a few.  With our resources, we devise a custom plan to sell each and every book in line with the author's intent and our knowledge of the industry needs, academic requirements, and library purchase patterns within scientific and engineering fields.

·    Rapid Publication. Because we work with authors directly and often from inception of a project, we are able to publish books in half the time of most commercial publishers. Given a 3-week turnaround for proof page examination, DEStech targets 120 days to have a book ready for sale and for the author's use.

·    Quality Control. DEStech ensures the technical integrity of all our books through the referee process. Our editors' years' of experience, plus journal boards, assures high-level blind refereeing. And while many publishers place much of the burden of manuscript development on the author, we also have editing and production staff familiar with scientific notation and terminology, as well as a variety of desktop publishing and illustration applications. DEStech provides personalized help to authors in securing copyright releases, preparing illustrations, and formatting of manuscripts to further ensure the best book possible.  Each DEStech book is uniquely designed and attractively produced.

·    Distribution. All books are shipped directly from our warehouse. During the business week, orders are fulfilled on the same day they are received.

·    Pricing. The books are priced so that professionals can afford them. Although we do pursue special orders from libraries and interested societies and organizations, individuals in the scientific and engineering communities are our most important asset, and we want our publications to be affordable for them.  Special prices are applied to books used in university courses.

·    Author Royalty. Authors are given a royalty that is higher than that of other publishers. In contrast to conglomerates and societies, DEStech pays royalties on every copy sold, regardless of the discount. Authors receive a generous number of free copies for personal use.
